The school committee meets every other Thursday to manage the general business of the school district as well as hear presentations on district goals and major initiatives, and to make decisions related to the next year’s budget. Some of these topics are items that may be of interest to Allcton and Boxborough community members, both those with children in the district, and those without. The administration and chairperson are pleased to share the anticipated topics for the first half of the school year.
It should be noted that some of the dates of these topics are subject to change. As always, the School Committee meeting agendas are posted the Friday before our Thursday meetings, on the district website at www.abschool.org. Our agendas include links to the PDF documents that will be reviewed in the meeting.
Members of the public are welcome to join any of the open meetings in the Administration Building auditorium located at 15 Charter Rd in Acton. There are opportunities for the public to make time-limited comments at the meetings. The Committee can also be contacted via e-mail at ABRSC@abschools.org. Our meetings are also broadcast live on Acton TV’s website and YouTube page.
